What happens over the 24 weeks
The programme progresses from business fundamentals to sector-specific support and market testing, before moving into live selling and growth planning. Each stage concludes with a practical output that participants can apply to their business.
The four stages

Business foundations
- Understanding your customer and their needs

- Building core commercial and financial foundations, including costing and margins

Launch and operation
- Selling to customers and carrying out real commercial activity
- Piloting products, services and routes to market

- Reviewing progress and key learnings
- Developing a growth plan with clear next steps
- Recording what was tested, what worked and what needs further development

What a typical week looks like
The weekly structure remains consistent across the 24 weeks, helping participants plan programme activities alongside their business or other commitments.
Around 9 to 12 hours per week in total, including independent fieldwork.
Workshops and applied labs are expected to run in the evenings, on weekdays. The exact timetable will be shared at a later stage.
