Who is responsible

Nwat Al Qura is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism and the Emirates Council for Balanced Development (ECBD), delivered by Brinc. This website is operated by ECBD on behalf of the programme.

This policy covers personal information given through this website and through the programme registration form. It does not cover other websites, including those of the partner entities, which have their own policies.

What information is collected

Personal information is collected only when you choose to give it. Browsing this website does not require you to share any personal details.

• Enquiry form: your full name, business name if you give one, email address, mobile number, the topic and text of your question, your consent to be contacted, and the date and time the enquiry was sent.
• Registration form: details about you and your project, the stage it has reached, the time you can commit, and the information needed to confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria.

Cookies and technical information

This website does not use cookies for visitors, and it has no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The fonts are served from this website, so browsing it does not send requests to font providers.

Like any website, the hosting provider keeps technical logs of requests for a short time, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used only to keep the website secure and working.

How the information is used

• To answer your enquiry.
• To receive and assess applications, and to contact applicants about their application.
• To run the programme for those who take part, including scheduling sessions and mentoring.
• To keep records of enquiries and applications, and to report on the programme in aggregate figures that do not identify individuals.
• To keep this website secure.

Your information is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not used for any purpose unrelated to the programme.

Who can see it

Access is limited to members of the programme team at ECBD, the Ministry of Economy and Tourism and Brinc who need it to answer enquiries and run the programme.

The website relies on three service providers, which handle information only to provide their service: Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores enquiries, and Fillout hosts the registration form. Their servers may be located outside the UAE. Fillout's own privacy policy also applies to the registration form.

Your information is not shared with any other party without your consent, unless UAE law requires it.

How it is protected

Information sent through this website is encrypted in transit. Enquiries are stored in a database that browsers cannot reach directly, and the area where the programme team reads them is password protected.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept while they are being handled and for a limited period afterwards, for programme records. Application information is kept for the duration of the programme and for the period needed for programme records and reporting. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Your choices and rights

In line with the principles of Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you can ask to:

• see the personal information held about you;
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• have your information deleted, or its use restricted;
• withdraw your consent, including consent to be contacted, at any time.

Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before it was withdrawn. If you withdraw an application, it will no longer be considered. To make a request, write to the programme team at the address below.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the programme develops. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
